Elite Trade Net has come up with a fascinating network of possible routes of which most of the stations are outside my updated prices and so is probably working on old data and so useless. What is positive is that the community has stepped in to make these tools. Ly to other systems and run trading trips that are no more profitable than I can find and was already running locally. When I do a spot of trading I usually fire up the eddb station scanner and head to a central system in the bubble and input the location data on eddb and it can usually give a number of options of profitable trade routes. Even with the trade routes showing on the galmap I have been to systems that do not export the listed commodity, even when listed in that commodities description. So something maybe went wrong with update? Not to be sneezed at for a junior pilot. If in doubt, I find the commodity descriptions in the Market screen to be really helpful. INARA has dumped many of the recommendations that it did have and come up with some new ones, however, in doing so I have discovered that there is a serious flaw in their logic, when it comes to making money. For a single ton of each commodity the figures provided by the trader tool were spot on, for a trader whose profits depend on shifting 100 tons at a time, they were useless.
